A neighbor introduced Chris Andritsos to baseball.
“My next-door neighbor gave me a baseball for my fourth birthday,” he said. “She taught me how to throw, and from then on I’ve played baseball. My dad never played baseball. He is a big football guy.”
Since then, Andritsos has grown — literally — into one of the top high school baseball players in the nation. The 6-foot-3, 230-pounder from The Woodlands, Texas, has been named Max Preps sophomore player of the year in 2013 and junior player of the year this spring. Andritsos and his Houston Kyle Chapman teammates are in Joplin this week for the Premier Baseball Junior Championship. click HERE for complete story
