College Park hoping this season will be the time to move out of The Woodlands’ shadow
College Park is coming off a great season.
It won 25 matches, finished second in District 14-5A and won a bi-district championship in the playoffs. Of course, rival The Woodlands won state and national titles – and the district’s only getting tougher.
“This year we’re moving up to (Class) 6A, but we’re back in the same district with The Woodlands and Kingwood,” 10th-year coach Candice Collins said. “So we traded A&M Consolidated for Kingwood, and it’ll still be tough, but I’m looking for us to really make a run at the district title.”
Collins said the Cavaliers can draw inspiration from the Highlanders’ 45-0 run to championship glory. click HERE for complete story
