Mall location will be fourth store for retailer in greater Houston area when it opens in September

Construction crews are nearing the finish line – as they start the final stages of work on the new, full-line Nordstrom store in The Woodlands Mall. Slated to open Sept. 5, the two-level, 138,000-square-foot store will be the company’s fourth store in the greater Houston area. The high-fashion retailer also operates a full-line store at the Galleria, Nordstrom Rack at Centre at Post Oak and the Market at Town Center Rack in Sugar Land. Currently, crews are installing the tile flooring and ceiling work is being completed. Work also is beginning on landscaping around the exterior of the store, using indigenous plants.The Nordstrom store will be in the space formerly occupied by Sears.
