Woodlands High School sophomore Allison Wertz has written her first play, a comedy that the McCullough Junior High School will compete with this weekend. The play is called “Reprogramming Camp,” and centers around Harris, a nerdy kid whose parents ship him off to camp to learn how to be cool.
“It’s clever, unique and fresh … it has a lot of hip references, including a Kardashian joke,” said Tina Kraft, McCullough theater teacher and director of Wertz’s play.
McCollough will perform the 40-minute play at University Interscholastic League’s (UIL) Junior High One-Act Play competition. click here for complete story
