Girls Basketball: Getting Going, Jolivette reflects on senior night

Once the ball is released from her grip towards the hoop, Brooke Jolivette takes a moment to herself once she sees it swish through.

54adbdafe8cfd.imageIn that moment of pure jubilation of making yet another shot, Jolivette, a senior at Kingwood High School, looks up into the stands, seeking a glimpse of her father Brian reacting. The reaction is what keeps her going.

“Yeah because that gets me going and that makes me play better and have confidence in myself,” Brooke said following Kingwood’s game against Summer Creek. “Because he coached me for my whole life basically; because he did the AAU stuff, the CBL stuff, that’s like little league basketball. Then my brother he played basketball too, I’ve been around basketball my whole life.”
