The Woodlands’ Adrian Piperi broke school records in both the shotput and the discus on the first two days of the Victor Lopez Classic at Rice University.

Piperi threw a 64-00, beating Houston Episcopal’s Jack Neary by nearly nine feet on Thursday, ebating his own record set the week prior at the Texas Relays. Piperi threw a 63-0.75 last week at the Texas Relays in Austin, breaking a school record that stood since 1988s. click here for complete story
