The top two graduates from The Woodlands College Park High School for the 2014-15 school year each want to go into the medical field after college.
But there is another facet about the two that goes beyond their academic excellence: both are first generation Americans born outside of the United States. Alejandra Resendiz, TWCPHS valedictorian who will attend Harvard University, was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. when she was eight years old. Salutatorian Dylan Jiang, who will attend Rice University, was born in China and moved when he was only four years old.
