
The Woodlands ran very well in the 2015 Nike Cross Nationals race at Glendoveer Golf Course in Portland, Ore.
The Highlanders had three runners place in the top-60 and the team finished sixth overall with 206 points Saturday afternoon during the 5K race. The Woodlands was just one point away from a fifth place spot, which ended up belonging to Timpangos XC with 205 points.
“Getting sixth in a national championship like this is just fabulous,” The Woodlands coach Juris Green said.
It was a vast improvement for a young team that came to Portland last year and finished in last place. click here for complete story
