The Woodlands coach Juris Green called it a “forever moment.”
Of the first 11 finishers in the boys Class 6A race at the UIL Cross Country State Championships, five were Highlanders.
“It’s one of those where you just pinch yourself, is this really happening?” Green said. “There where some talented runners here, and have all our guys that high up?
“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Gosh, I’m going to remember this day for a long, long time.”
