Baseball may still be months away, but for one weekend The College Park Dugout Club reminded us why baseball is America’s pastime.

Last weekend, College Park hosted its 11th annual Slugfest fundraiser and it was a huge success.

“It’s a unique event,” College Park baseball coach Jason Washburn said. “I loved going out to the parking lot and listening to the ambience of all the kids hitting the ball, screaming, the oohs and ahs of the crowd–just listening to everyone having a good time.”
