Boxing: With family in his corner, Arturo Marquez makes successful pro debut

Marquez began boxing at age 11 when his father’s career was coming to a close. A graduate of Summer Creek High School, his role models, besides his father, included Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Miguel Cotto. After compiling an amateur record of 65-10, he decided to turn pro.
