Baseball: UIL medical committee to hear proposal on pitch count limits

The University Interscholastic League will hear a proposal on potentially implementing a pitch count for baseball pitchers during an April.

A committee comprising doctors, athletic trainers and at least one member of the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association will present a report to the UIL’s medical advisory committee about a pitch count, THSBCA executive director Rex Sanders said Wednesday. click here for complete story
