Tennis coach Henry Garza is in his ninth season at College Park, and he’s ready to declare this edition of the Cavaliers one of the best yet.
Ranked 15th in the state among Class 5A teams by the Texas Tennis Coaches Association, College Park edged No. 10 The Woodlands 10-9 on Friday to all but clinch the District 14-5A championship. The Cavs play their final match of the regular season against Oak Ridge on Friday before next week’s area tournament.
