The Woodlands took the fight to the Klein Oak Panthers on Friday night, and this time, the Highlanders will live to tell about it.

The Woodlands used a brilliant effort from junior quarterback Eric Schmid and a typically sturdy performance from its defense to turn back the Panthers 16-7 on a chilly night at Woodforest Bank Stadium.
The Highlanders took Klein Oak’s best shot and avenged last year’s 38-20 loss to the Panthers at Klein Memorial Stadium.
The Woodlands (10-1) advanced to the area round of the Region II-6A Division I playoffs and will face Austin Westlake (10-1) in a Saturday afternoon game on November 21. click here for complete story
